We all have a to-do list, but how about a stop-doing list? Is there something you do out of habit that doesn’t really serve your goals anymore? Life changed dramatically for me when I learned of SARK’s concept of micromovements: “A micromovement is a very tiny action that anyone can take towards some part of his or her creative dream. It’s 5 seconds to 5 minutes in length, and you write it down, along with a gentle date for completion.”

Oh my gosh! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been overwhelmed by the size of a project and then put it off and put it off. “Stop Procrastinating” went immediately onto my Stop-Doing list once I broke down projects of all sizes into a series of micromovements.

What would you like to put on your Stop-Doing list today?
